Beer by the bucket

Post by Old Yard Dog » Fri Jun 08, 2018 11:02 am

The Legion of Mary (or whatever euphemism the anti-alcohol lobby uses these days) has succeeded in getting people to order beer in thirds.

So it was very refreshing last night at the Ossett Brewery pub opposite Elland Road to see beer sold in plastic glasses which looked like two-pint plastic buckets. Presumably this was in order to reduce congestion at the bar. Unfortunately most of the punters were drinking lager, but this was Leeds.

Can't stand drinking beer out of plastic. Couldn't they get glass buckets?
