I've just read the latest edition of OIC and it seems to consist of page after page of rants about how wonderful b****y Twitter is.

Has some new kid taken over as editor?

I was moved to complain to the BBC a few months ago about their incessant plugging of b****y Twitter and Facebook on every single channel including BBC4 and Radios 3 and 4. They have since started calling them "social media".

I hate Twitter and words like "tweet" and "retweet". I was mortified when Sir Geoffrey Boycott used the word "tweet" on TMS. And it is tortuous trying to follow minute by minute accounts of football matches on the wretched thing on your cell phone. And no b****y yank is going to tell me how long my postings are going to be.

Dear OIC editor - please confine your magazine to beer and pubs.

That rant is *so* going on Twitter.

Tremendous rant. Boycott needs stripping of his knighthood.
