Chester at Large pub reviews

Post by mike5490 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 7:40 pm

I can be critical of the local CAMRA branch as some of you are well aware. BUT the website keeps real ale additions or removals up to date which I really applaud and appreciate. Looking tonight at the Chester at Large website (commendable as it is) the reviews of pubs leave a lot to be desired! not on content, but on date! for example severable pubs such as the Albion and Dublin Packet were last reviewed in 1997! by my maths that's 17 years ago!!!! lots of things have changed, I know Mercer is still at the Albion! but I feel the site doesn't do justice to the on going, dynamic, changing real ale scene in the city. Either update or remove.

Mike, I can't really see this discussion going anywhere useful. It's up to you if you want to use Chester@Large or not, no-one's forcing you.

Thread locked.
