The Lord Binning has now re-opened as a Brunning & Price pub under its previous, but not original, name the Morris Dancer.

Haven't been in to check the beers yet but will do so at the Chester Folk Festival over the Spring Bank Holiday.

Popped in the day it opened. Standard exemplar B&P pub.

Beer range nothing too exciting - mix of Weetwood, Spitting Feathers, Taylors, Phoenix and Purity.

The Boot at Willington remains my favourite pub in the area where they were serving the newly launched Half Nelson Weetwood wheat beer.

Surely, as long as the beers are in good nick it doesn’t matter who they are from :drinking: all hail the ale

Popped in for lunch today to spend our B&P vouchers before they expire at the end of the month and found beers from Sandiway, Moorhouses, Peerless, Weetwood and Castle Rock on tap.

As this was my first midweek daytime visit, I was also hoping to find the Apothecary Ales chemist & off licence opposite open for the first time ever. This used to have a reputation for selling obscure bottle conditioned ales. However I was disappointed to learn that they ceased to be an off licence two years ago and that part of the shop now sells greeting cards.
