Noticed last night that it was shut for refurbishment. New signage already in place. Any ideas. New brewery?

I've been told that the landlord is now a manager and not a tenant.

I believe it's going to be sports bar focused.

It's open now. I'll pop in later. Now owned by Craft Union on a retail agreement.

Quite a nice refurbishnent. Very light and airy now. Cheap prices. Looks like a McSpoons. Two ales on; Doom Bar and Magic Dragon.

I can see the prices going up to market rate at some point but it's an improvement on the old place. Would go again.

Went on Friday, tried the doom bar. Drunk about 2/3s of it before I gave up. Horrible for want of a better word. A friend went for the ice dragon and loved it.
The pub itself has been refurbed very well. Doing away with the island bar has given it a much more spacious feel.
