Re: Lowlander Belgian Beer Fest 11-12 December

Post by KashTapRooms » Wed Nov 04, 2015 12:35 pm

A couple of updates...

Firstly, the Lowlander fest starts on Friday 11th December. It will probably go onto 13th December, but Friday and Saturday are the main day.

Secondly, James B will be joining Alex to brew Black Betty, just as it was the first time. Expect magic.

Finally, we just brewing a new Scotch Ale this morning for the fest. Weighing in at a playful 8%, expect something rich, dark, caramely & rather boozy. Best drunk in seated position while donning a Tam O' Shanter.

White Betty, our Belgian Golden Ale, will be on this weekend. 8.2% Neil from Real Ale Chester said it's yeast crazy, pert, a sipper.

Try it this weekend.

cheers

10% CAMRA discount at Kash & two extra pumps!

Post by KashTapRooms » Wed Jan 27, 2016 1:24 pm

Today marks an historic day in the history of the Kash Tap Rooms. We are officially throwing our loving arms around CAMRA. Yes, we've stolen glances across the dance floor, but now it's time to exchange 'phone numbers. Starting this weekend, we'll be offering a 10% discount on all cask ales, 24/7. And, as an additional sweetener, we're adding another two pumps to the bar. So not only will we have six glorious pumps of pleasure, there'll be a lot more guest beer action, too.

The Kash team xxx
Ps we'll still have Happy Hour so there's something for everyone!

Hope it is other local beers, as the stuff Kash produce can be, as one would say 'leave a lot to be desired'

I'm hoping for some lower ABV brews, last visit all four were over 5%. Not ideal when on a session! :drunk:
