Lock Vaults, Hoole Lane.

I was drawn in by the blackboard announcing 'Real Ales'
Three handpulls, tonights choice was:
Moorhouses, Pride of Pendle.
Weetwood, Cheshire Cat.
Tim Taylors, Landlord.
Next up, Jennings Cumberland.
Landlord very keen, trying to get lager drinkers onto the real stuff. Friendly local, deserves support.

Good spot Mike. That leaves the Cross Fixes as the only keg pub in Boughton! I'll give this a mention in the next OutInn Cheshire.

Gave the Vaults another shot last night. St Austell Tribute, Jennings Cumberland, and an excellent TTs Landlord. Well worth a visit if you are that side of town.

Cheshire Cat was good here last night. Rotating selection of ales, give it a go if you are that way!

Pub has closed due to structural issues. Hopefully it will get sorted soon.

No point in chasing this one either, nobody is really interested :drinking: since the oak has become the cheap place round there, a bit like Wetherspoons. It’s been dying a death. Shame really remember what it was busy late 70s early 80s when I served my apprenticeship at chester engineering. Vivas rule :drinking:
