Re-opened 21st October after major refit which has totally changed the look and feel of the place. No longer a cosy local. Wouldn't look out of place in Hampstead.
No cask ales at time of visit but there will be some soon.

Reopened yesterday with new tenants.
Cask ale back on the two handpumps. Doom Bar permanent and the second from the guest list.

My wife and I took over the Peal 12 months ago. The previous owners didn't sell cask. We started out with 2 pumps. Doombar and guest.
We had never run a pub and had a lot to learn and hopefully we have.

We now have 4 pumps. Our mainstays are Wainwrights and our house best bitter "Broxton Dogger" - brewed by Marstons for us and named by the locals!

Our guest beers range from Big Hand, Heavy Industry, Salopian, Stone House, Purple Moose and Red Willow. Hawkshead and Phoenix are coming soon.
