We were eager to show off our new etched glass leading to the Snug and the supreme champion Elland 1872 Porter aged in wooden whisky casks. The Red Fox bitter from Red fox brewery in Coggeshall Essex was one of many delicious beers brewed by Russ Barnes. Formerly an engineer Russ built his own brewery and his beers are as impressive as his passion for real ale.
Unfortunately the red fox, Elephants and Salamander have gone.... but we have some Orkney beers Roosters amongst local beers and loads more. Also over the festive season we have great live music to complement the beverages. Check out our facebook page and click on events for the full list. Please make the effort to call in, if you don't use us you'll lose us!
