Well Mike, i will be in the mill this afternoon, for the rugby and football, so I will check out the previous bloggers comments to see if what they say is correct. Be good for all if it is though!!! Another watering hole to keep the Canal Quarter on top of the pile.
The Cottage, Artichoke, Harkers, Cellar Bar and The Mill ....a pleasant mini tour.....
It just gets better for real ale drinkers, 5 real ale pubs within a few minutes walk of each other.

Mike,The Mill guest ale list was as follows, Merlin Dark Magic 4.8%, Phoenix White Monk 4.5%, Abbeydale Resolution 4.2%, Abbeydale Brimstone 3.9%( This one sold out and Abbeydale Moonshine 4.3% replaced it). Also Ruddles County 4.8%.
I have never tried the Brimstone before, but it was a tasty amber ale. The bar was full of Welsh and English rugby fans and the atmosphere was bouncing.

The Mill was OK, very quiet, only four other drinkers, service leaves a lot to be desired though. Tried the Jaipur, does this beer always have a haze on it these days? condition ok but a bit on the cold side. Decided not to attempt the Deuchers, Mill Premium, Merlin, Abbeydale or Copper Dragon, beat a retreat to the Cellar for my second pint.

Mike4590, call in at the Mill and tell them your preferences. We also have forms on the bar so you can tell us what you think of our current selection, as well as telling us what ales you would like to see on the pumps. A win win all round :thumb:
