Unfortunately 'Sinsir' who was looking after the cellar (and doing a fine job along with the Boughton Belle) is now doing other duties. The cellar in now in the hands of the new manager and the difference is all too readily apparent. The dreaded 'coming soon' signs have returned (not just one, but three were up the other day) and interest generally on the ale front seems to be on the decline. Shame as the SB went through a very good patch.

Note also the lack of 'beer on now' updates. Tells it's own story really.

I was in there last Thursday and noted that there were 6 guest ales and no 'coming soon' stickers. I had pints of Tring Moongazer, George Wright Pipe Dream and GW Northern Lights, all very good although a bit on the cold side.

Yes I agree with BB, took one look last evening and left, had an excellent pint of Peerless Uncle Sam in Forest House.

I really used to appreciate the notifications of beers on now and those upcoming at the SB that Sinsir used to post. Any chance of bringing them back? I must remember to lobby the next time I am in.

I don't think Sinsir is about anymore.

He told me a couple of months back that he was thinking of moving on.

Shame that .....
