Always think Botanist applies excessive pricing; The Boot (and Falcon) are always best value, if you can live with poor service, low lifes etc !

Tend to agree that they are distinctly unconvincing on the beers front - we have bought bottles of good U.S. brews but rather expensive, so they are not on our 'regular haunts' list either.

The obvious answer is "wassocks" but I think it is, in truth, only gentlemen of a certain age, who haven't noticed that the World has moved on.................

Belgian Beer Festival at Kash

Just to thank the team at Kash for laying on a very diverse range of excellent beers for the weekend festival - Zinnebier, for example, a pretty obscure brew, plus the Leffe 9% Rituel were standouts. Well done! My only criticism - not an uncommon one for UK bars - is lack of 'proper' glasses. I know...

First visit last eve - quite liked it, enjoyed schooners (yes!) of 'Longhammer', a 6% IPA.

Staff were friendly, showed us food menu, as of future interest, also looked at a bottled Weissbier which might be for next time............
