I think we are starting to lose the track here people, one of the things we need to be concentrating on is beers are brewed in this country for the consumption of our local pubs, And not raving on about beers are brewed abroad! Change of plan, we will not be open on Wednesday Thursday or Friday lunchtimes we will open as normal at 4 o'clock. Last year was a waste of time.

Charity quiz night tonight, titanic plum Porter, otter bitter , spitting feathers thirst quencher and andwell sovereign all at £3.20 a pint plus discounts. It is about the ales :drinking:

Newsflash, to anybody who is interested, the Watergate is not getting knocked down they are refurbishing it, I don't know up to what standard as yet i.e. just beer or beer and food. Diggers are there now clearing front area of pub where the raised garden was. Rumours are rife about Pub being done out, turned into new type bar lounge, or being knocked down. Take your choice. We have just been informed about the old cottage been taking out of the voting. But only left two pubs to be voted for so a guaranteed second place. We knew that we would not get anywhere this year because of complaints about the webpage. But that should've also been sent out to members so they did ...
