When it first opened the owner said he intended to brew his own beer on the premises and had reserved the last handpump for that very purpose. :hmm: However I never see many people in there drinking what beer he does have at the moment, so the 'homebrew' has got to be really good to attract more pu...

Here's another clue. They've legally got to display their premises license... which has the name of the designated premises supervisor on it... which is usually (but not always) the landlord. A very obvious statement and one I am sure everyone will already know!!! Thank you for your extremely well ...

Rimmer, I used to have a few beers at the Railway before attempting various climbs on the crags, way back in the 70's the Greenalls was always excellent. The Whalebone? yes I remember that one too, slighty more up market these days!! as Netherton Hall. Various climbs on the crags? Sounds like a ref...
